I'm working on a series that encourages me to get away from the horizontal pieces that I've been doing. Hence, the radial motif. Conceptually, it's all based on my daughter's ability to appreciate life in a purely sensory mode, while I am inclined to analyze, categorize and order. She'll wear a skirt ONLY if it twirls. For the shear thrill of watching, feeling and hearing that swish. And I spend my time trying to figure out why she does what she does. I need to twirl more.
