Thirteen Flags

Sometime Thursday afternoon, some kind soul left a banner of thirteen flags on our front porch for Avery's birthday.  The usual suspect (Ruth) has said it was not her.  So, as Avery says, it remains a mystery.  I imagine we will figure it out as time goes on.  I just have to look for these fabrics in someone's quilt!  I could also do a forensic analysis of the stitching done on the flags and try to match it to someone's sewing machine.  Or it would be easiest if the seamstress would simple fess up so she could be properly thanked!

In any case, they look beautiful and we plan to leave them up all summer.
